Sputnik Aragonite is a type of calcium carbonate mineral that naturally occurs in mother nature, alongside Calcite and Vaterite. It can be found as small prismatic crystals, masses , stalactites, and spherical radiating aggregates. Aragonite was first identified in 1790 by Abraham Gottlob Werner in Molina de Aragón, Guadalajara, Castile-La Mancha, Spain, and has since been discovered in various locations around the world, including Mexico, Pakistan, Italy, the U.K., and the United States.
