The Aramith Premier Billiard Ball Set is a three-ball set for English billiards, offered in 2in and 2 1/16in. English billiards is played with two cue balls and a red, and each pla yer uses one of the whites — one plain, one spotted — which is why the set is built as a matched trio rather than a rack. Because only three balls are in play and every shot involves at least two of them, matching matters more here than in almost any other cue game: a ball that differs slightly in weight or roundness shows up immediately in a cannon or a losing hazard.
