The recent discovery of platinum had allowed jewellers to create jewels of unprecedented lightness and elegance, which were set with white diamonds and pearls to create softly sparkling, subtle jewels of infinite refinement. The surface of this ring is set with circular-cut and single-cut diamonds of various sizes, interspersed with platinum claws and stippled millegrain borders, enabling the diamonds and metal surface to work together to create an overall shimmering surface.
