A Totoku copper wire voice coil imported from Japan, a spun-laced Nomex composite former, a progressive polycotton Nomex-blend spider, and all bonding surfaces laser-etched and primed before adhesion. The A10 is a 3.77 inch shallow driver with 8mm Xmax, built for installations where the ARC 10 will not physically fit. The choice is not about which is better; it is about which one solves your specific installation constraint. If you have 5.5 inches of mounting depth, the ARC Series 10 gives you more excursion capability and a broader range of enclosure options. If you have 4 inches or less, the A10 is the answer.
