This jacket is inspired to the tail coat. The name "tailcoat" in fact derives from the English "frock coat" (frock coat), but when it appeared on the men's fashion scene at the end of the eighteenth century it was by no means a formal garment. The tailcoat was born as a country dress, in wool or leather, with a line inspired by military clothing aimed at making it more comfortable and functional than elegant. Thanks to further uses it became an evening formal jacket. Our interpretation is in the middle: we propose the classic color black, however we suggest to wear it either in a formal way, as well as with a casual outfit.
