Emphasis is given on the continuity, rupture and reconfiguration of limits, or breaking of boundaries. A vertical vase or candleholder can be aligned magnetically, and a complementary slotted disc may be positioned freely—each at any point along the curve. Through pure forms and minimal interventions, the design series engages critically with the concept of an end, of a function or a use. Identity, like function, is understood as provisional. Meaning arises from relation and the tension between balance and fragility. Each design exists within a system of reconfigurable parts, capable of extension and inversion, forming new alignments. Magnetically linked, the modules engage through attraction, resisting permanence.
