The 'ArcMaster' makes it quicker and easier than ever to measure catch and finish angles on rowing boats! Simply place the tool on the 13mm nut on top of a gate, align the 0° marking with the centreline of the boat, and use the string to measure the desired angle on the gunwale. Then, you can add markings, zip ties or other guides for your athletes. The tool fits snugly over a 13mm nut, or over the threaded pin if it is exposed. Sliding markers along the edge of the tool allow the desired angle to be preset, so you don't have to constantly check if you are measuring the correct angle. The tool also features a hole to hang the tool at your workbench, slots for wrapping and storing the string, and indents to easily set the 0° position. For easy reference, catch and finish angle guidelines are printed directly on the tool. These are based on a combination of Rowing Australia's benchmarks and BioRow's Typical Oarlock Values. While they may not suit your particular crew or squad, they provide a simple guideline to assist with setting up your boat.
