The Arc’teryx Atom Jacket is an easy answer to the question of what layer to grab when it’s cold, but not that cold. Coreloft synthetic insulation provides lightweight warmth and c ontinues to perform if it gets damp, while stretch fleece side panels improve breathability and mobility when you’re working harder. The outer fabric cuts wind and handles light weather, making the Atom just as useful on its own as it is underneath a ski shell. Ski in it, hike in it, travel with it, wear it around town—the Atom’s biggest strength is simply how often it makes sense.
