Prunus persica var. nectarina 'Arctic Babe' Introduced in 2017, Arctic Babe is the first white-fleshed miniature nectarine. Bred by Floyd Zaiger, it is has super-sweet, large size fruit that is semi-freestone. The dwarf tree reaches only 4-6 feet tall which makes it easy to thin and harvest, and easy to cover to protect blooms from frost or leaf curl. It will grow great in a pot or in the ground, and ripens mid-season. Needs 700 chill hours. Self fruitful.
