At WOT the muffler’s design loads the chambers with exhaust flow, allowing excess CFM to overflow into the pass-through chambers, enabling freer flow when it's needed most. When the throttle is closed and exhaust flow is reduced, gases are redirected through the baffles and chambers for a deep, quiet tone.
