Introducing the Arctic Weave series! A study in precision, contrast and light "Arctic Weave - Ice Grid" is created using an advanced on-edge glass technique, where layers of cobalt blue, clear and white glass are fused, then precision-cut and reassembled into an interlocking woven design. The bold white lines create a crisp, architectural grid - like light cutting across frozen Arctic surfaces - while the cobalt glass adds depth and intensity. As light moves through the piece, the pattern shifts between structure and motion, revealing new layers from every angle. Mounted on a handcrafted wood display stand, this piece is both modern and sculptural - designed to stand out. Built through precision cutting and intentional placement, this piece reflects my approach to glass ~ structured, deliberate and alive with light.
