Manzanita: Evergreen CA Native shrub 4-6' tall and wide with attractive coppery-red new growth. A naturally occurring hybrid that was discovered near Monterey, it has exfoliating s haggy bark and sections of smooth, brilliant, shiny reddish bark typical of manzanitas. Tolerates seacoast, wind, heat, sand, clay and drought. Full sun, low water needs, deer and gopher resistant. Hummingbird and pollinator favorite. Show more
