This second batch of Ardbeg 19yo was matured in American Oak & Oloroso Sherry and bottled at 46.2%. Tasting note: Quite peaty on the nose, especially for a 19 years old Ardbeg. Aft er the smoke comes the grilled pineapples, citrus, varnish, meaty, big and powerful. Palate is tarry, sweet and juicy, roasted tea leaves, elegant smoke, balanced. Long and chewy, gentle spices, juicy pineapples. A powerful but yet elegant Islay malt. Show more
