The aim behind the whisky was to unite the brand's traditional and complex house style with seductive sweetness derived from ex-sherry casks. This mission succeeded; Ardbeg Uigeadail has been one of the most loved single malt whiskies of its kind for years. By bottling this whisky at a firm alcohol content (54.2%), its aromas and flavours are expressed in an excellent way. On the nose, you'll find classic Ardbeg hints, including pine needles and charcoal. Tones of sultanas and espresso, coming from the sherry casks, complement this.
