Artiti The Italian word “Arditi” literally translates to daring or audacious, but often translates as "The Daring (Ones)" in English. A Royal Italian Army elite force of World War 1 adopted Arditi as its name. They and the opposing German Stormtroopers were the first modern shock troops, and they have been defined as "the most feared corps by opposing armies", Arditi were usually drawn from Bersaglieri or Alpini (two Italian military specialties whose soldiers were renowned for their strategic capabilities and physical prowess) making them quite the experienced force. Common iconography of the Arditi depicts a skull with a dagger clenched between the teeth. as seen in the Flag Patch available. 2x3 Velcro Patch dimensions: W: 3 inches, H: 2 inchesborder-color: blackthread color: whitebackground: black twilladdition: merrow, velcro
