the experience of drinking tea is a very personal one. so many of us have our own rituals and idiosyncrasies when enjoying our tea. the cups we have designed hold approximately 200 ml. we believe a smaller cup keeps us engaged in the whole experience of pouring and drinking while keeping the bulk of the tea warm in the pot. the porcelain cups have a slight taper upwards with a really nice weight - not too heavy and not to light. the overall body has a consistent thickness with a tapering edge providing a comfortable amount of contact against your mouth. each cup is handmade in toronto by a local crafts person.
