Argali by Kvadrat is a high quality kilim rug, handwoven from special Tibetan wool from Argali - a wild sheep bread that resides in the Himalayan mountains. In a palette of six col ours typical of Nepalese design, yarns are handspun by local weavers, with naturally faded colours and irregular characteristics lending each rug a truly individual appeal. Each rug incorporates traditional Nepalese design details, including a hand-embroidered area with silk yarn – a reference to an old tradition of repairing rugs, and braided fringes - an Nepalese custom regarded for its decorative appeal.
