For Lite+ models, the surface material must be between ⅛” and ¾” thick. My floor is already installed. Can I use this product?Yes! This is a framed floor vent for any surface material. All you need is a piece of your flooring material to place inside the inner tray. Will this product work with my HVAC system?This HVAC-compatible framed floor vent is airflow tested and designed to work with most standard systems, but it’s always a good idea to consult your HVAC specialist to ensure that this product is right for yours. What's the difference between the Framed Floor Vent [Lite+] and the Flush Floor Vent [Lite+]?This is the Framed model, with a thin rim that sits on the surface, creating a visible border and allowing for an easy, DIY-friendly drop-in installation. In comparison, the Flush model sits level with the floor, but must be mounted at the subfloor level, before installing the surface material. When you say easy to install, just how easy is it?This is the Framed model — installation is simple and requires minimal tools. Just cut a piece of your flooring material, glue it onto the vent’s inner tray, and screw it in for super-easy, DIY framed floor vent installation.
