When designs were being considered for the Riedell Arius plate, it was clear that the standard cushions we were used to seeing on traditional king pins, were not going to work. Riedell came up with the unique butterfly cushions which are ready to skate out of the package and no king pin adjustment is required. Originally there were to be two cushion hardnesses - extra soft and extra hard, now there are six different hardnesses to mix and match to find your ultimate set up! Please note. The Split Style cushions are for the newer Arius Platnium. The Whole Cushions will fit the older model red Arius Hardnesses: ORANGE 71a AQUA 74a LAVENDER 77a WHITE 80a SKY BLUE 83a GREEN 86a BLUE 89a RED 92a PINK 95a Each tin contains a full set of eight Split Butterfly cushions and has a colour-coded label on the back.
