The Arkon Drill-Base Tablet Mount is a part of Arkon’s Robust Mount Series. It includes a Heavy-Duty Mounting Pedestal with Metal 4-Hole AMPS Drill Base and a Slim-Grip Universal Tablet Holder. It can take the following devices but not limited to: Apple iPad Pro, iPad Air/Air 2, iPad Pro 12.9 (2020), iPad Pro 11 (2020) Samsung Galaxy Tab S7/Tab A 8.4/Tab A 8.0/Tab E 8.0 Slim-Grip Tablet Holder The Slim-Grip Tablet Holder fits tablets 7 to 18.4 inches in screen size. It features a spring-loaded design that makes it easy to insert or remove the tablet by pushing down on the lower legs of the holder with one hand. Included with the holder are 10 support legs (4 short, 2 medium and 4 long versions). Choose the 4 legs that provide the best fit for your tablet. These insert at the top and bottom of the holder and can be easily adjusted in order to keep any side buttons and ports unobstructed. For most large tablets, the best mount holder configuration is to attach 2 short support legs on top and the 2 long support legs on the bottom of the holder. For smaller tablets, use all 4 short support legs on the holder. For larger tablets including iPad Pro, use all 4 long legs. For vertical viewing, adjust the 360-degree swivel. 4-Hole AMPS Drill Base The mount uses the 4-Hole AMPS mounting pattern, which consists of four holes located in a rectangular pattern spaced at 30.17mm x 38.05mm (measured as the center-to-center distance between holes). The tough, low-vibration pedestal measures approximately 5 inches high from end to end (not including holder). The pedestal swivels on both top and bottom, providing flexibility in positioning the tablet at any angle. The mount can also be screwed directly into the dash or console of your vehicle.
