The Arktis B475 VULCAN V2 is a packable & lightweight insulation mid-layer featuring PrimaLoft® Gold insulation. It is manufactured with a water resistant and windproof Nylon MiniRip outer which provides exceptional warmth, thermal efficiency & breathability without the bulk of traditional warmers jacket, even when the jacket is wet. Based on user feedback Arktis made two adjustments to the original B474 VULCAN jacket to create the improved Arktis B475 VULCAN V2. They added pit zips with mesh gussets, allowing you to dump heat fast when you get active. Secondly, Arktis moved the pocket placement just a little to allow for more comfortable access. Between its inner and outer wind-proof layers, the jacket boasts 100gsm of Primaloft® Gold across the body and 60gsm across the arms, meaning excellent thermal properties without unwanted bulk. The design and fit keeps the operator in mind. The two large front pockets have dual opening zips, providing flexibility and internal slots provide convenient storage. The two front pockets feature concealed adjustment points that allow for easy use without the risk of them interfering with your weapon hold. The spacious hood can be fully adjusted across three points. All this is contained in a form factor so lightweight that it can be packed into its own pocket.
