Wild Muskoka makes their Charred Cedar Bitters by hand-harvesting cedar from the wildest of places in Muskoka. Next, we start a fire using the bush craft technique of the cedar bow -drill. We char the fresh cedar leaf and branches over the fire and then jar and smother in locally distilled smoked rye whiskey. After steeping they are blended with extracts of bitter herbs.
