Lemon Laine's take How to apply When using the candle for the first time, let it burn for 2-3 hours until the entire top layer of wax has become liquid. Regularly trim the wick to 1/4 inch height and center the wick after use to ensure an even burn. Never leave a candle unattended or place a lit candle in a draught.
