Aromatic cedar keepsake boxes, finished with shellac to help keep the color vibrant. Antique brass style hinges and hardware pop against the varied hues of purples and reds from th e cedar. The internal size is approximately 7.5"x4.25"x4", and the inside is has been flocked with black suede fiber. The hinge has a very satisfying slide into place - after closing it, it won't simply rattle open. These boxes have a satin finish which gives them a warm, soft look - very complimentary to the cedar. Some boxes will have blue resin accents that fill the natural holes and grooves of the cedar boards.
