Pattern Booklet: The Aros Sweater is worked from the top down. First, the yoke is worked back and forth on circular needles, while the neckline is being shaped, then the work is joined to be worked in the round. The yoke is constructed with shoulder increases on both right side and wrong side rows on the first section. On the next section increases are worked on the sleeves only, and on the final section classic raglan increases are worked on both body and sleeves. The rib neck edge is worked at the end from stitches that are picked up and knitted along the neck edge. The neck edge is folded and sewn over. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or on long circular needles using the Magic Loop technique. Aros Sweater has stripes in 7 different colors. The sweater can also be worked in one color or in stripes in fewer colors. If you want to knit an Aros Dress instead of an Aros Sweater, extend the body of the sweater simply to dress length.
