The aim of Thomas Bentzen’s Around table for Muuto is functional simplicity. The tables are meant to be stable, durable and the edge around the table keeps coffee cups and drinks right where they belong. As Bentzen says, “around thus forms a practical and welcoming place to gather.” Two different sizes are available: a larger coffee table and a smaller side table. The gap in the rim allows the table to hold a lamp and let the wire flow off the edge neatly. This makes the tables ideal for other uses such as bedside tables.
