The first major foothills of the Sierra de Gredos define the landscape of El Real de San Vicente, one of the northernmost villages in Toledo province. In its traditional vineyards, we cultivate a collection of small plots of Garnacha, which embody the full character of this most essential of Iberian grape varieties. From its grapes we produce one of Arrayán's most representative wines. A brilliant example of the finest qualities of these lands that lie between granite and slate, drawing from ancient geology a vibrant, penetrating, and lively spirit. Gravity-fed in stainless steel tanks. Cold pre-fermentation maceration for three days. Spontaneous fermentation at controlled temperature. Twenty days of maceration with the skins. Malolactic fermentation in barrel. Twelve months in 300 and 500 liter French oak barrels, plus 12 months in bottle.
