Controller & wiring checks: LED-guided check for 24VAC controller output, quick open/short wiring diagnostics and clear pass/fail indicators. Tone generation for wire tracing: Built-in 1 kHz tone generator for use with a compatible tone probe (Pro210F tone probe included in the PRO48K kit or sold separately) to trace and identify wires. Portable power: Runs on two 9V alkaline batteries (NEDA1604 / 6LR61), with typical continuous battery life around three hours; easy battery replacement in the field. Rugged, compact design: Durable yellow case with top toggle switch, alligator clip leads and clear front LEDs; compact size for a contractor tool.
