Description A very attractive Art Deco period engine turned and enamelled silver case. The workmanship is first rate and it is heavy for it's size having lots of silver content. Pe rhaps the most interesting feature though is the hallmark for Poland which is quite a scarce find. There are also further marks which are not very clear but likely to be the silver grade and town mark. Style wise it is very much Art Deco and it would date to the inter-war period. The interior is gilded and there is an inscription etched into the inside. The case would have been used for slim cigarettes. A great find and a lovely piece for the collector.
