This issue features interviews with Dawn Dedeaux, Sally Jacques, George Ciscle, and Michael Maziere. Susan Snodgrass writes an article about "Culture in Action"; a temporary public art program whose aim was to fuse contemporary art initiatives with urban issues. Several articles cover the topic of education, like Susan M. Mayer's "The Art of Educating the Public", Curtia James' "Museum Education in the Nation's Capital" and "Criticism and Education (A Polemic in Q & A)" by Patrice Clark Koelsch. Reviews include Gianna Eden at Riverworks Crafts Gallery, Amalie Rothschild at Gomez Gallery, Francie Bishop Good at Phoenix Gallery and Big Al Carter at Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Show more
