This issue ushers in a new and interesting format for Art Papers. The editor invited the input of curators, critics and historians to essentially use the space as a gallery in print. Statements or critiques from this invited to curate or artists whose work is featured were welcomed but not required. The featured invited guests are as follows: Michael Auping, Pete Morrin, Eric Bookhardt and Ron Jones. Curiously, in the letter-from-the-editor, it is mentioned that one of Ron Jones' selections is openly not supported conceptually by the Art Papers staff and they would not be surprised if the audience felt the same, as the image is a sexually explicit photography, but in the interest of not encouraging censorship in any space for the arts, they still allow it to be included.
