This image belongs to my Cliff Scapes collection, which started while walking the coastline in Cornwall, UK. If you look carefully, you will notice I was not looking up to the clif fs, but down to the ground, sand, water... the cliffs of imagination. A black bird glides alone over cliffs with warm tones of yellow and orange, its wings cutting through the air effortlessly. The soft colors and the bird's calm flight give a sense of peace and solitude. My gaze was not on the cliffs above but drawn to the textures below—ground and water merging into imagined cliffs.
