Tailored for the mobile musician, producer, or analog aficionado, the Arturia KeyStep features a 32-note slimkey keyboard equipped with a built-in 64-step sequencer/arpeggiator. The slimkey keybed is responsive to both velocity and aftertouch, and each step of the sequencer can accommodate up to 8 notes. The sequencer includes 8 memory slots, while the arpeggiator mode provides 8 distinct pattern styles. Furthermore, users can adjust the swing and gate length directly from the keyboard in real-time. The KeyStep features a chord-play mode that allows users to set chords and subsequently play them back using a single note. This functionality can also be utilized in the arpeggiator mode for creating chord arpeggiations. Furthermore, it includes performance controls such as capacitive-touch pitch bend and modulation strips. For those engaged in analog production, the KeyStep provides pitch and modulation CV (control voltage) outputs, a Gate output, and Sync I/O through 1/8" / 3.5mm connectors. Additionally, the KeyStep is supplied with a micro-USB to USB cable.
