Arthur and Olive print A4 size Unframed Archival giclee print A couple heading out to the surf with their wooden bellyboards under their arms. I named this print after my grandparents who grew up in Perranporth. I have a wonderful photo of them in their woollen swimwear in the 1940s and this illustration is my interpretation inspired by that photo. ------ Back by popular demand, this collection of Surf prints from 2015 is now available to purchase again. My original illustrations were inspired by the original World Bellyboard Championships event at Chapel Porth in Cornwall, and the glorious sight of people enjoying their wooden surfboards with stripey wollen costumes, floral bathing hats and vintage swimwear. No wetsuits allowed! My mum's family are from Perranporth and my print Arthur and Olive are inspired by a photo of my grandparents in their swimming costumes in the 1930s and my great uncle Arthur Westcott who built his own surf board and would wheel it down to Perranporth Beach from Perrancoombe.
