This lure gives just a bit of extra to fool that big fish into taking a bite. The claws of this crawfish imitation crankbait swing freely and will just wave at the fish while it tr ies to make it's escape making this fish want it all the more. There are crawfish in lakes, rivers and ponds so I am sure it will catch fish everywhere but personally I can't wait to get it on the river for some big smallies!
