ArtLifting is a platform for artists that have traditionally been underrepresented in the contemporary art market due to housing insecurities or disabilities. Each artist has a unique perspective, style and story based on the differences of their lived experiences, cultures, artistic talents and innovative processes. This tray was designed by Cheryl, who relies on her ‘mind’s eye’ memories to drive her work. After starting to lose her eyesight, she uses her fragmented, flickering vision to bring an unexpected perspective to her art.
