To celebrate big news in our life, my wife and I visited the tulip festival at thanksgiving point. I painted a scene that one might not think of when visiting the tulip festival, but hoping to show there is beauty all around outside of what we intentionally view. Sweeping Water. Many nights and mornings my wife and I walked along rivers discussing what life might bring. This painting is to remember those conversations. Ecola State Park.
