Attwood and Sawyer 22ct Gold Plated Swarovski Crystal Elephant Brooch featuring a walking elephant with his trunk raised, pave set with clear Swarovski Crystals and a single red Sw arovski Crystal for his eye. He measures 2.3cm high and 3.5cm at his widest point and he weighs 7g. This charming brooch is 22ct Gold Plated with a rollover clasp and it is stamped 'A&S' on the reverse. Elephants are symbols of luck and prosperity, but they are also powerful beings that use their mighty strength to remove obstacles and negative forces. They also represent wisdom, long life, memory and vitality. Attwood and Sawyer was founded in 1956 in Porthcawl, Wales by Mr Horace Attwood and Mr Sawyer. Many of the designs, now highly collectible, were inspired by historical references, including their most recognisable collection inspired by the jewellery collection of the Duchess of Windsor.
