Decanting recommended Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose a romas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavours of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries. It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste.
