The case is made from black 7mm Astroboard, a lightweight but very strong polypropylene honeycomb material. The case is fitted with interlocking aluminium sections to the joint edg es to give a splash proof seal. Edges are fitted with 30 mm aluminium angle. Zinc coated pressed steel ball corners and edge brackets increase strength and protection. The lid is secured to the base with four butterfly catches. A recessed sprung handle is fitted to each end as shown. Internally the case is fully foam lined. Internal measurements are W470 x D335 x H490mm.
