The flyer unit for the Ashford e-Spinner, sold on its own without a bobbin. This is a replacement flyer, for when your original is damaged or something has gone wrong and you need to get spinning again. The wooden flyer arm carries squeeze-and-slide hooks with free-flowing yarn guides, so you can slide the guides along the arm and fill your bobbin evenly from one end to the other. It fits the e-Spinner 2 as well as the e-Spinner 3. Both machines use the same flyer shaft, the one with a flat spot machined into it. The original e-Spinner 1 uses a U-shaped shaft instead, so this flyer will not mount on it. The e-Spinner Super Jumbo is a different machine again. It runs bobbin-lead tension with a much larger orifice for bulky yarn, and it takes its own flyer.
