Ashford & Simpson’s ‘Bourgié Bourgié’ gets a three-version outing on Groovin Recordings. The original’s orchestration, nimble bass and live drums make it a natural bridge between s oul and disco, and this 12-inch gives it company in the shape of two extended club treatments. Director’s Cut bring piano-led house colour to their version, while Joe Claussell takes the other side with his eleven-minute Classic Mix.
