The HYPER SPEED™ 5 shoe is designed for quicker training and racing. This version includes a lightweight upper material that's formed with a racing-specific fit. The shoe's repeat mesh material is lightweight and durable and is designed to help provide a race-ready fit for racing on and off roads. For the eyelet stay, we fine-tuned its construction to improve the overall fit while creating better midfoot lockdown and fit. An improved sockliner is added for underfoot cushioning. Repeat mesh upper – Lightweight and durable. OrthoLite™ sockliner – Provides cushioning performance and moisture management for a cooler, dryer environment. FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning – Lightweight midsole foam that delivers a comfortable cushioning experience. AHAR® LO outsole rubber – Lower-density rubber placed in key areas of the outsole for reliable grip and traction without sacrificing durability. The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to conventional dyeing technology. At least 65% of the shoe’s upper material is made with recycled materials to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
