The Askar 0.75x Flattener/Reducer for the 65PHQ is a 2.5" corrector for full frame sensors. The flattener/reducer is a quadruplet design with one element of ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass. The 0.75x reduction factor shortens the focal ratio of the 65PHQ to f/4.8, shortening the exposure time and increasing the field of view. When paired with this flattener/reducer, the focal length of the 65PHQ becomes 312mm, transforming it into an extremely capable widefield astrograph. The flattener/reducer has a backfocus requirement of 55mm, making it straightforward to connect common imaging trains. An internal M48 x 0.75 thread allows you to attach standard 2" filters. Note: some of these reducers are marked as ZWO. In fact, the Reducer for the FF65 and the Askar 65PHQ are exactly the same.
