Hi, this week we are painting the very delicious asparagus. This is a really nice, simple vegetable to paint, and you could add it alongside another vegetable study to create a sto ry, perhaps elements of a recipe or something similar. It's a really nice simple, long shaped to paint, with some sweet little bits of detail along the length. Take your time and make sure that when you are removing the masking fluid that everything is completely dry. The secret to painting this and getting really nice, sharp edges is to get comfortable and make sure that you're painting at an angle that feels right. It's super important not to rush this but once you've painted one you'll be addicted.
