Asparagus Gijnlim is an all-male variety of asparagus plant, producing succulent, vibrant green spears with deep purple tips. This asparagus is known for its excellent flavour and having a higher yield than other varieties. Asparagus is packed with antioxidants as well as vitamins C, E, B6 and folic acid and it’s great for using in a variety of dishes. It’s excellent for roasting or steaming as a side dish, and it pairs particularly well with fish such as salmon, as well as cured meats.
