Bring an extraordinary flock of hummingbirds straight to your yard with the extra-large Aspects HummZinger HighView Excel Hummingbird Feeder. Widely regarded as one of the best-designed and easiest-to-clean feeders on the market, this premium model combines a massive 16 oz. nectar capacity with 6 feeding ports to support highly active backyard bird colonies. Built from the most durable plastics available and equipped with a unique elevated perching bar, it provides a leak-proof, ant-proof sanctuary for spectacular, unobstructed close-up birdwatching. Key Features & Benefits Massive 16 oz. Nectar Capacity: Engineered with a generous extra-large reservoir to satisfy dense populations of hungry hummingbirds, meaning less frequent refills for busy backyard birders. 6 High-Visibility Feeding Stations: Features six individual feeding ports to allow a whole flock of hummingbirds to dine peacefully together simultaneously. Innovative HighView™ Perch: Built with an elevated perching rail that encourages hummingbirds to rest comfortably while they drink. This positions the birds slightly higher, offering you an entirely unobstructed, crystal-clear view over the red cover. Built-In Protective Ant Moat: The central column houses an integrated ant moat basin. Simply fill it with plain water to create a natural physical barrier that completely blocks crawling ants from reaching and contaminating the nectar well. 100% Drip and Leak-Proof Design: The horizontal flat-dish engineering completely eliminates gravity-fed leakage and annoying drips common with traditional upside-down bottles, keeping your patio entirely free of sticky, wasp-attracting messes. Rain-Diverting Raised Flowers: The bright red top features raised flower accents around the ports that naturally redirect driving rain and morning dew away from the openings, preventing fresh nectar from becoming diluted. Indestructible Polycarbonate Build: Both the vibrant red cover and clear bowl are constructed from ultra-durable, UV-stabilized polycarbonate—the toughest plastic available. It won't yellow, cloud, turn brittle, or crack in extreme weather. Solid Brass Hanging Loop: Arrives fully equipped with a heavy-duty, weather-resistant solid brass hanging rod for immediate hook or bracket placement. This triggers annoying leaks that attract wasps and yellowjackets. This flat-dish configuration relies on a balanced surface well that can never leak or drip, keeping your feeding area perfectly clean. How do I clean out the HummZinger Excel feeder?Cleaning is incredibly fast and simple. Simply lift the snap-off red cover to reveal the wide-mouth, shallow clear basin below. You can easily brush out any sugar mold in seconds, or place both the cover and bowl directly onto the top rack of your dishwasher for hassle-free sanitizing. What is the best recipe for fresh hummingbird nectar? We highly recommend the JCS Wildlife True to Flower Premium Hummingbird Nectar. Inspired by the natural sugar profiles found in the blooms hummingbirds seek out in the wild, this research-driven formula mirrors the taste, texture, and energy balance of real floral nectar. Never use red food dyes, honey, or artificial sweeteners, as they are highly toxic to hummingbirds.
