Product Description In Aspens, two players compete to grow the most impressive forest across a shared landscape. Starting from a few small saplings near water sources, players grad ually expand their forests by planting trees and claiming new spaces on the board. Each turn, the active player rolls the Sun die and Wind die. The Sun determines which forest spaces generate new trees, while the Wind controls the directions players can expand. Players must decide whether to grow their existing trees taller to produce more resources later, or spread outward quickly to capture territory before their opponent does. As the forest fills in, clever positioning can allow players to enclose areas of the board and claim large sections of land. When all spaces are filled, the player controlling the most forest spaces wins the game.
