(aka: Ceterachopsis dalhousieae) This unusual miniature fern, named after the Earl of Dalhousie (no relation to doll houses), has one of the most unique distributions in the fern w orld, being native to moist, rocky ravines at 4,000' to 7,000' elevation in southern Arizona, northern Mexico, and the Himalayas. In the garden, Asplenium dalhousieae forms a compact 4" tall x 10" wide clump of deeply incised light green leaves...very unique and very cute!
