Want to ensure you never have a pest snail problem ever again? These showy snails do exactly as they are named; hunt down and eat other snails! Kept very easily with other fish and shrimp, but do not keep with a Nerite or Mystery snail. Curiously, Assassins are not Hermaphroditic, such as most other aquarium snails. They'll need both a Male and Female to reproduce, and do not lay eggs prolifically when they do. For better chances at breeding, grab at least six to maximize your chances of having both sexes. These guys have undemanding water needs, but would prefer a planted, community tank within normal parameters.
